Uploaded files

Log files submitted to this site are stored and retained, as uploaded, and used to study and improve decoding of the Zero log format. A Zero log file contains the vehicle's VIN, firmware versions and board part numbers, and a timestamped record of how the bike was ridden, charged, and faulted; files are kept in their original form and are not modified or anonymised. Files may be shared with others working on the log format.

Your results page is at a randomly generated address that is not listed or linked anywhere on this site, so it will not be found by browsing. It is not password protected, though: anyone who has the link can open the page and see everything on it, including your VIN. The link does not expire. Treat it as carefully as you would the log file itself.

No account, name or email is requested and no tracking cookies are set; the server records IP addresses for abuse prevention.
